The 2026 Can-Am Defender HD9 DPS is a durable mid-size utility side-by-side built for work and off-road reliability. It’s powered by a 976 cc Rotax V-twin engine delivering strong, usable torque, paired with a CVT transmission and selectable 2WD/4WD with Visco-Lok auto-locking front differential. The DPS (Dynamic Power Steering) system provides lighter steering and better control at low speeds and under load. This unit is fitted with a roof, front and rear window (including front wiper), and a wrap-around bullbar, giving added weather protection, visibility in harsh conditions, and increased front-end durability for work or rough terrain.
